Even an 11 year old can paint, right?

Updated: Jul 17

What does a "Painter" do exactly? I have heard responses from other trades persons commenting that anyone can "slop paint on a wall", even a kid! So, I put that to the test, and recently asked my 11 year old to add a prime coat to a room in our house. I showed him the basics, and turned him loose! He actually did great for about 5 minutes, and then dropped the roller and briskly walked away.

In all seriousness, a skilled painter is an individual that: possesses in-depth foresight and understanding of efficient, and comprehensive, approaches and completions of paint related projects. Coupled with the proper usage of equipment, products, and with an unwavering pursuit of industry standards, the qualified painting professional can always remain in the upper echelon of this skilled trade.

There's so much more to it, and my goal is to demystify the notion that "anyone can paint" without proper training. That's why I am here, to offer insights and training in order to help others reach the highest level of achievement in the painting trade. With my help, anyone can start at the beginning to learn the basics, and utilize those skills to produce effective paint finishes. So, in essence, I want to make it a reality, that anyone CAN paint!

Yours Truly,
